Golf Fang To Drop Twisted Crazy Golf into Leeds

29th June 2022

Here at Social Playlist we love a Golf Fang / Ghetto Golf venue. Not only is the mini-golf fabulously fun but the venues are incredible with a fresh, creative vibe. Plus they serve great food and yummy cocktails – what’s not to love?!

So, understandably we are very excited to hear that in late Autumn a colourful, new Golf Fang is opening on Redcote Lane in Leeds.

What to expect at Golf Fang

Essentially there’s an 18 hole crazy golf course. But, it’s so much more than that. The holes are brilliantly crafted to be challenging and unlike any you’ve seen before. The large scale theatre of their courses can include anything from a bus, an old pub, shop frontages or even a film studio.

The experience is accompanied by DJs busting out the latest tunes and bringing the party with absolute bangers.

However, the distinctive identity and exhilarating vibe of Golf Fang is that the golf courses are created as a canvas for local Graff Writers who adorn the venue with incredible, collaborative graffiti art works. They really are spectacular.

Street Food and Cocktails

If you’re striving to create the best venue you can, then Golf Fang are getting the combo right. Super fun activity, in a stunning venue, with quality food and tasty drinks.

Golf Fang partner with street food vendors to provide a broad range menu with finger-licking, mouth-watering food choices. Their Sheffield and Glasgow venues both have food from Flicks Kitchens. Newcastle, Liverpool and Birmingham serve up from Locked & Loaded Street Food. We will have to wait and see who will be serving up the goodness in Leeds.

At Golf Fang you’ll find a fully stocked bar with loads of your favourite tipples. If you’re going to be going out-out then you might as well treat yourself to some cocktails, and Golf Fang have a fabulous range of classic and signature cocktails. Why not get fruity with a So Fresh So Lean (Gordon’s Pink Gin, Limoncello, Pureed Strawberry, Pomegranate, Lemon Juice topped with Lemonade)?

Who are Golf Fang?

Golf Fang, along with Ghetto Golf, is operated by Big Fang Collective, founded by Kip Piper and Daniel Bolger in 2016. They started out with Ghetto Golf in Liverpool and have since gone on to open four further sites: Birmingham, Newcastle, Sheffield and Glasgow.

Big Fang Collective also owns Birdies Bar, one of which will be featuring in their recently opened Sheffield venue.

As well as opening up Golf Fang Leeds, the company is going to be launching a number of pop-ups later this year too.

Kip Piper, co-founder of Big Fang Collective, said, “We’re really excited to introduce Golf Fang to the people of Leeds. As a city with a young demographic and a fun atmosphere, Leeds is a great location for the concept. This venue will feature some of our most popular experiential elements as well as a few new courses. We can’t wait to see how our guests will interact with the new space and we’re looking forward to celebrating with everybody.

We are really excited too Kip.
