Strike Wandsworth is the dream venue for a brilliant night out! This historic building, which was once a brewery, is now a stylish, buzzing social entertainment venue. Brilliant games to play, an impressive drinks menu, tasty food and an epic sound track.  It’s not to be missed.

Strike boasts four stunning tenpin bowling lanes, three lanes of Duckpin Social bowling, three lanes of interactive darts and an incredible interactive shuffleboard – this is the ultimate in swanky competitive socialising venues!

Located in the popular Ram Quarter, Strike is a premium boutique bowling alley where sophistication and finesse abound.  Having made its home within a glorious Grade II listed building which was formerly the Young’s brewery, one of UK’s oldest breweries, it is delightful that the interior design captures and reflects the historical significance of the site.

The design manages to magnificently unite the class of an exclusive gentleman’s club with the forefront of state-of-the-art, technology led social gaming experiences.

Incredible gaming

The activity offering at Strike focusses on multi-player games, which are fast paced, interactive and highly competitive. Alongside their exquisite bowling lanes there are modern remakes of traditional games, which have been created to use tech to super-charge the enjoyment and level the playing field – so friends of all abilities can play against each other.

Interactive darts creates teams to compete against each other in a range of darts-based games. However, you don’t have to worry about the complexities of scoring as the impressive dart boards do all the hard work. Just enter your names into the interface, snap your selfies, select your game and your difficulty level and the Smart board with display screen does the rest.

Duckpin Social is a funky twist on tenpin bowling, where the lane is shorter, the pins stubbier, the gutters are narrower and the smaller balls have no holes – great for wearers of acrylics! You still get to enjoy the clatter of the pins as they fall and this minimised game, new to the UK, is most definitely a great option for friends wanting to try something a little more intense.

Interactive shuffleboard … what a game! Shuffleboard has had a resurgence over the last few years, with many venues installing this highly competitive, bar game. However, Shuffle Pucks, an interactive shuffleboard ups the thrill of the battle. As well as playing the traditional game of shuffleboard the touch screen guides you through a range of games, the pucks are tracked by cameras and your results displayed. If you don’t think you’re competitive, try shuffleboard, and think again.

Creative cocktails and tasty food

A night out with this much fun demands exceptional sustenance, so that’s what you’re going to get at Strike. Their food menu offers quality upgrades to traditional diner dishes, including Raclette Burger, The Unicorn Burger (with a plant-based patty), Crayfish hand stretched and stone baked pizza and jumbo wings with a dip – will you go nuclear?

In celebration of its previous life as a brewery, Strike have partnered with local brewery Meantime Brewery serving tank-fresh larger, which is stored in authentic copper tanks that gleam with pride of place in the bar.  Strike also serves up drinks from Sambrook’s, Signal and Belleville local breweries, alongside a phenomenal range of spirits, wine, cocktails and soft drinks.
