Superbowl UK Barnsley is now open! Bowling, Amusements, Soft Play and a Bar

The striking 14 lane, Superbowl UK in Barnsley opened on 15th October at The Glass Works in Barnsley town centre.

Superbowl UK are a successful family entertainment centre operator with 11 sites around the country. Superbowl UK sites are designed to be places you can spend the whole day, with a huge range of activities to keep guests of all ages entertained. Alternatively, you can make it the target of your night out with plenty of activities to satisfy your thirst for victory.

As well as bowling, guests to Superbowl UK in Barnsley can enjoy their bustling SEGA Prize Zone. Packed with coin-operated games from classic video games, rides and driving simulators. There are a host of competitive games including air hockey and Sonic Sports Basketball. As you play you can win tickets and exchange them from prizes such as a Tokio tablet, Tokio drone or a Tokio VR headset!

If you’re taking kiddies to Superbowl UK then you can check them into the Crazy Club. A sprawling soft play area, where (for once) you don’t need to pay for the adults.

To keep you energised you can stop off at the Diner. You can expect classic bowling centre / soft play offerings from basket meals, hotdogs and burgers to baguettes, jacket potatoes and dirty fries.

If you’re there for the night then the bar will provide all the refreshment you need from ice-cold beer, larger and ciders to a wide range of spirits and mixers.

The Glass Works is the Barnsley Council’s bold and innovative development designed to invigorate Barnsley Town Centre. The £120m regeneration project which spans 3.8 hectares will be opening up in phases. Phase one opened in September this year and it’s hoped to be fully opened in early 2022.

The Glass Works also houses a 13-screen Cineworld.
