SIXES cricket concept coming to London, Manchester and Oxford

14th April 2021

SIXES Cricket Club is the latest Social Play concept to bring extra fun to a visit to the pub. Sixes places cricket themed cutting edge elite sports simulation into beautiful, traditional English gastro pubs, creating that exquisite mix of fine food, drink and opportunities to play.

Sixes launched its first site in Fulham, London in December 2020, before having to close due to lockdown restrictions. Following the easing of restrictions Sixes Fulham reopened on the 12th April, offering outdoor food and drink as well as free cricket for children.

Their second site in Fitzrovia, London is set to open on 26th May, offering players access to four nets. The brand plan to open their Oxford and Manchester sites in June or July.

Sixes utilises the same Batfast simulation technology used by the English cricket team, which thankfully can be adjusted to accommodate the full range of skills, ensuring this game is challenging fun for cricket professionals, complete beginners and children.  To complete the ambience of the quintessentially English day out at the cricket, the venue also features a Clubhouse and Pavillion.

Sixes has been developed by Andy Waugh and Calum Mackinnon, founders of restaurant group Mac & Wild.  In addition to their new cricketing venture, Waugh and Mackinnon are also behind social entertainment restaurant Mac & Wild in London and VR bar Smokey Barrels. Additionally they are launching Bonnie & Wild, an Edinburgh based food hall which will house a restaurant from MasterChef: The Professionals winner Gary Maclean.

You can easily book your slot to play Sixes by visiting their website. We look forward to seeing what the new venues look like!
