Are you in need of a Friday treat? Well we’ve got an awesome one for you … Roxy Ball Room Sheffield is opening today (19/08/22)!!!

Roxy Sheffield invite you into their wonderland of competitive gaming. They’ve got an incredible line-up of games for you: duckpin bowling, shuffleboard, ice-free curling, bank-shot shuffleboard, crazy pool, karaoke, ping pong, beer pong, American pool and basketball – WOW! There isn’t anywhere else in Sheffield offering this many brilliant social gaming pleasures under one roof.

Roxy Sheffield is located in the iconic Telephone House which, back in the ‘80s and ‘90s, was once a nightclub called Roxy Disco! Cute circle of life stuff.

The creative team at Roxy have given the venue a stunning renovation decking the place out in striking graffiti art works, atmospheric neon lighting and some Roxy statement black and white stripes. It looks lush. The perfect backdrop to an Instagrammable night out or an adventurous first date.

The Roxy strapline isn’t “Booze and Ball Games” for nothing. This fabulous new venue has a bar brimming with your favourite tipples. Alongside their 16 beer and craft ales they have wine, spirits, shots and softs. But, why not indulge a little and opt for a cocktail? They’ve got a great line up of classics from Long Island Iced Tea (hello, ‘00s) and Pina Colada to a French Martini. However, you should get out of your comfort zone and try out one (or some) of their tasty Signature cocktails – they’ve created some absolute smashers. Start gently with a Roxy Spritz (Amaretto, prosecco, lemon and grenadine) before getting fruity with a Tropical Rumbull (Havana Especial Rum, Tropical Red Bull and lime juice). Why not go all out with Sudden Death (Bacardi Rum, amaretto, orange bitters, lime juice, pineapple, grenadine and Coco Real) – yum.

With all the playing you’ll have worked up an appetite. Thankfully Roxy have a menu of nibbles to keep you fired up. We’re talking pizza, dogs and sides. Fill up on a Buffalo Chicken pizza (Tomato base, mozzarella, salt and pepper chicken, jalapeños, buffalo sauce and spicy rocket) or how about an old skool Classic Dog (Bratwurst sausages in a brioche roll topped with crispy fried onions, ketchup and American mustard).

Roxy venues have been bringing their lively venues to Northern cities since they first opened in Leeds in 2013. Since then they’ve opened in Manchester, Liverpool, Nottingham, Birmingham and Bristol. The games on offer vary between venues so take a gander at their website to see what your nearest Roxy has in store for you.
