Boom: Battle Bar Joins The Ram Quarter Development, Wandsworth

18th May 2021

People everywhere are on the hunt for great nights out. Places that offer them something different, a real experience. And that’s exactly what they’re going to get at The Ram Quarter in Wandsworth.

The Ram Quarter has already won countless awards for its design and engineering as a location offering homes, shopping and social play. The Ram Quarter will not only offer luxury living, with views of the river and shared gardens but it plans to become a cultural destination for southwest London.

Alongside a range of eateries, including London Stock, Story Coffee and Mai Thai Deli visitors can while away the hours at Backyard Cinema, More Yoga, Strike Bowl and the latest addition, Boom: Battle Bar, who have just signed a 15-year lease.

Boom: Battle Bar are progressing with their rapid expansion programme having already announced that they are opening sites this year at Lakeside, O2 Arena, St John’s Shopping Centre in Liverpool, Algate East, Eastbourne, Swindon, Aberdeen, Glasgow and Edinburgh.

Their Wandsworth site will occupy 10,000 sq ft on the Barley Walk riverside promenade. It’s a good job that some of this space will be taken up by cocktail bars and street food offerings as you’re going to need to keep your strength up. A visit to Boom: Battle Bar will give you the chance to turn your hand to a whole host of social play concepts, from Bavarian axe throwing, shuffleboard, crazier golf, electric darts, table tennis and beer pong.

Elliott Shuttleworth, CEO of Boom: Battle Bar, said: “Boom is a concept unlike any the residents of Wandsworth will have experienced.  There’s a real buzz about the reopening of London’s nightlife, and we can’t wait to get people back together and give them a night out to remember at Ram Quarter.”

Chris Daly, deputy director, commercial, at Greenland (UK), said: “We’re building a really diverse mix of innovative, independent brands here at Ram Quarter.  As lockdown restrictions loosen, people are looking for something that bit different as a way to catch up with family and friends.  That’s what Boom offers and given the incredible reception it has had at its first two venues, we can’t wait to see it open its doors to the residents of South London.”
