We’re not entirely sure what has been happening with Plonk Golf at Borough Market. It was originally due to open before Christmas, the date was then revised to 4th Feb, now they have published the date of Thursday 24th March. We really hope they can open! We love Plonk Golf!
Their new venue is hidden away in the atmospheric arches of Borough Market. The site has been completely transformed into a fantastical and colourful homage to the City of London. With Floor to ceiling scenic walls depicting the places and people synonymous with the Capital.
The course contains nine-holes, designed by the creative workshop team, many of which are the biggest golfstacles Plonk have ever created. The course will have you travelling down the Thames, escaping the river serpents, confronting ships and traversing Tower Bridge.
Plonk Golf aren’t serving up any food or drink, but being located in Borough Market you’re surrounded by wonderful foodie opportunities.
If you’re looking for a Plonk Golf with all the trimmings then you should check out Plonk Golf, London Fields. As well as their creative crazy golf there’s the Games Bar, stacked up high with board games, retro arcade machines, pinball and foosball tables.
The London Fields’ tiki cocktail bar is brimming with local craft draught beer, wine, juices and mock-tails. However, their speciality is their colourful and tasty cocktails. As well as a range of classic cocktails you can enjoy their own house specials. From Plonkers Punch (Havana Especial Rum, Triple Sec, grapefruit, orange and grenadine) to Golfstar Martini (Vodka, Passoa, passionfruit, vanilla and lime). If you go at the right time you can take advantage of their two for £12 deal.
Plonk Golf also operate venues at Camden Market and the Horniman Museum.
