Between the Bridges is like a festival in the middle of the City of London. Located on the edge of the River Thames, just along from the London Eye, Between the Bridges is offering you everything you need for an afternoon chilling with friends followed by a fun night out, basking in the summer sun.
Boasting the largest beer garden in London, Between the Bridges also provides a host of street food vendors, themed markets, drag brunches, stages for DJ performances, throwing game Tejo and also Plonk Golf.
Plonk Golf have transformed a vintage dodgems track into a unique under cover mini golf experience. The nine-hole course, with its brightly painted décor and UV lighting really brings the fairground to the City. The course has been designed for adults so you can expect to feel your competitive streak coming out as you battle around the oversized loops, balancing ball holes, ball runs, quarter pipes and ramps.
You might also like to have a go at Tejo. Colombia’s national throwing game which involves hurling pucs at an exploding target which rewards you with bangs and flames! Tejo is located right next to Plonk Golf.
It is likely that your game of golf will be accompanied by the delicious smells wafting across from the many street food offerings at Between the Bridges. So, once you’ve conquered the course, and hopefully triumphed, you’ll find there is plenty to tantalise your tastebuds. Options include:
- Burger & Beyond
- Born & Raised: sourdough pizza
- The Cheese Wheel: hot pasta served from a giant parmesan cheese wheel
- El Pollote: Fried chicken with sticky, spicy guava glaze
