The view from the terrace of the Liverpool ONE building is quite spectacular, with glimpses of Liverpool’s Albert Docks and Chavasse Park, and now it can be enjoyed by guests to the brand new On the Green.
On the Green is a classy bar which offers you the opportunity to hone your golfing skills in one of their four immersive golfing simulators.
The booths allow you to play 18-holes of virtual golf on some of the world’s most famous and enjoyable courses, from St. Andrews to Pebble Beach or closer to home at Royal Birkdale. Their top-notch simulators give you access to 125 courses including 35 tour venues, and they’re adding additional courses every month.
No golf course would be complete without a 19th hole and On the Green has a gorgeous one. Fully stocked with carefully selected beers, a full range of spirits and a menu of delightful, bespoke cocktails. Will you be The Captain (Smirnoff Vodka, tomato juice, honey, sherry, lemon and spice), raise a glass to Tiger Woods (Woodford Reserve Bourbon, banana liquor, bitters and a spray of smoke), or celebrate with a Pink Gin Fizz (Gordon’s Pink Gin, White Vermouth, strawberry, lemon topped with soda)?
Whether you’re after a post golf celebration, or just want to enjoy a drink with a view, then the bar and terrace at On the Green is definitely worth a visit.
The high-definition TrackMan simulators can be booked for groups of up to six people, from £40 per hour (for the bay, not per person). However, if you want to make a party of it, just get in touch and they’ll work out a great package for you.
On the Green has been developed by director, Matt Hatchard, who upon it’s opening said, “We were selective when searching for the perfect location at which to launch On The Green, and Liverpool One, with its outstanding mix of leisure names, open-air environment and attractive terrace, really stood out to us.”
