Houses and gardens across the country are regularly held hostage by kids running a mock with Nerf guns. Now the kids, and more importantly the adults, can fully unleash their Nerf skills at the specially designed, fully immersive, Nerf Action Xperience at the intu Trafford Centre, Manchester … well, soon they will!
The Manchester venue will be the very first location to welcome a NERF Action Xperience. The venture is a partnership between Hasbro, the makers of NERF, and Rocafella Leisure Group. This intense battling concept offers players a range of zones to dominate including E-Karts zone (where you can drive around in electronic karts whilst taking out the opposition), Urban Battle Zone and the Sports Zone. The battleground spans across three floors with an additional floor housing a café and viewing platform.
Nerf Action Xperience already have a successful site in Singapore, which opened in 2019. With 18,000 sq ft of battleground, the family fun concept includes a zombie infested city, obstacle courses and a creative zone where kids decorate merchandise by firing paint at t-shirts and bags etc.
Not only will NERF Action Xperience bring jobs but it will inevitably also drive footfall and increase the time people spend at the intu Trafford Centre as a whole. Drawing social play concepts into shopping and town centres is an increasingly popular strategy to maintain viability and future proof these locations.
