Ever since Lane7 announced they were going to be opening up in St James Quarter, Edinburgh, we’ve been waiting for confirmation of when those doors would be flung open. Now the secret is out … 24th June! Yippee
This is exactly what the fine folk of beautiful Edinburgh need … fun. Lots of Lane7 style fun.
The new site will offer a huge array of activities for you and your mates to battle over. With ten lanes of tenpin bowling, mini golf, shooting pods, smart darts, ping pong, pool and back shuffleboards you’re in for a right good time.
The new venue will, no doubt, have the usual Lane7 swagger; funky lighting, graffiti style décor, loads of cool seating zones and arcade games dotted around, to keep you busy at all times. If you’ve never been to a Lane7 before you should check out this fab drone shot video … and you’ll see exactly what I’m talking about.
When you’re ready for a breather the full bar will cater for your every need, whether that be cocktails, mocktails, fizz, beer or a shake. Grab yourself a burger, pizza or some loaded fries to make sure you’re powered up ready for your next win. Why not treat yourself to a Crunchie ice cream with toffee sauce, I’m sure you deserve it?
Not only will Lane7 be opening on 24th June but the whole, brand new, St James Quarter. Set right in the heart of Edinburgh’s City Centre, St James Quarter is a retail, leisure and hospitality destination. With a mix of popular, familiar shops and restaurants to new, up and coming brands there is a lot to explore and admire about St James Quarter.
With culture and lifestyle at the heart of St James Quarter you’ll not be surprised to find that they are developing a full events calendar to celebrate art, culture and fashion.
As well as Lane7 you’ll find Everyman Cinema (opening a little later in the year). The St James Quarter team tell me that more social play concepts are planned, but are currently still under wraps!
