Gutterball and Boom Battle Bar Unleash Social Play In Glasgow

2nd July 2021

The St Enoch Centre in Glasgow’s city centre is undergoing a £40 million redevelopment. As we are seeing across the country, the developers, Sovereign Centros Limited, have seized this opportunity to bring leisure operators into Glasgow’s impressive new mall.

Let’s face it, we love to shop but we love being with our friends and family a heck of a lot more. Having spent more than a year cooped up at home many of us are desperate to get out and enjoy new and fun experiences; opportunities to spend time with great people, having a right good laugh whilst enjoying a tipple and some fabulous food.

When it opened phase one in June the focus was on the state-of-the-are Vue cinema, with nine screens, including three 3D screens.

However, exciting sites will be opening very soon … Boom: Battle Bar and Gutterball Entertainment Centre.

Boom: Battle Bar brings an urban, relaxed feel to a night out. Boasting Instagrammable cocktails, Boom: Battle Beer, exceptional street food and more games than you’d think possible. Most Boom: Battle Bar venues offer Crazier Golf, Bavarian Axe Throwing, Electric Darts, Shuffleboard, Beer Pong and Skeeball – so you’ll be kept entertained for hours! Keep an eye on their Facebook for updates on when they’re going to opening their Glasgow doors.

Boom: Battle Bar also operate in Norwich, Cardiff and Liverpool with a whole host of other sites opening this year, including one on Oxford Street

Gutterball will be an entertainment centre brimming with fun activities for your night on the town. Their North Shields site currently offers tenpin bowling, Guttergolf, Ping Pong, baseball – Bull Pen, Pool, arcades and karaoke – many of which we expect will feature in the new Glasgow extravaganza. Their ‘What’s your Beef’ food menu is something to behold … stacked burgers, loaded baskets, daim bar brownies and biscoff cheesecake and so much more. Of course, there’s also a full bar with pretty cocktails for that weekend treat.

Gutterball is currently under construction in Glasgow, so we’ll be keeping an eye out for details of their opening night. You can also follow their Facebook for all the latest info.
