Four Quarters Arcade Bar Opening in Central London

25th May 2021

Four Quarters Arcade Bars are about as far away from seaside arcades as you can get! This is arcade gaming which specialises in lovingly restoring vintage games whilst immersing guests within a high-tech building with gaming screens built into the walls.

London already boasts Four Quarters arcade bars in Peckham and Hackney Wick. The new site, situated in Elephant Park, Elephant and Castle, is their largest site, standing at 3000 sq ft, will be opening this August

If you’re lucky enough to be one of the first through the doors you’re going to be overwhelmed by the sheer size of the gaming delights awaiting your arrival. You’ll find over 30 original arcade machines, eight vintage console booths and two large screen projection areas.  A huge selection of iconic arcade cabs to play and cocktail gaming tables.

The outside gaming booths enable you see your gaming played out on the video game screens built into the walls of the building, making it feel that you yourself are playing from within a game. Whilst inside there are banqueting areas where large groups can battle it out on Nintendo, Sega or PlayStation.

The team at Four Quarters are passionate about restoring classic arcade machines and giving the glow of their former glory. This means you can expect to discover rare and genuine arcade games from the ‘80s to mid-2000’s – like Street Fighter II, Pac Man, Point Blank, Asteroids, The Simpson, Space Invaders and Sega Rally.

To keep you firing on all cylinders, Four Quarters has a splendid supply of 16 craft beers many of which are from local breweries, reasonably priced classic cocktails and an extensive back bar.  You can also get your teeth into as selection of sumptuous burgers and bites

As the name suggests Four Quarters operates using good old American quarters. £1 will buy you four quarters, one quarter gets you a game. £1 = four quarters = four games.

The go-to place for vintage video-arcade classics, Four Quarters Elephant Park is the first in a series of openings planned, with nationwide sites due to be announced in due course.
