October is exciting for lots of reasons – it’s a month closer to Christmas, pumpkin carving, having a legitimate excuse to sport some fancy dress. However, this October is going to be extra special … ** NEW VENUE ALERT*** Flight Club is opening in Cardiff!
Located on St Mary Street, Flight Club Cardiff will be opening its doors on 7th October!
This new site has been given a gorgeous Flight Club makeover giving you the recognisable warmth of a local pub paired with nostalgic nods to a fairground and reflections of Cardiff. The fun is spread over three floors offering 15 Social Darts playing areas (Oches), four bars brimming with your favourite tipples and a joyous roof terrace.
So, Social Darts – what’s the deal? This is multi-player, games based, high-tech darts. The board and darts might look very familiar but the Flight Club tech has revolutionised the gaming experience. With Social Darts you can play in teams, upload your selfies and battle it out in a range of games. The screen leads you through the games, shows you your target segments, tracks and calculates the scores.
Each playing area is beautifully designed to be semi-private, with space for you and your mates to sit, eat, drink and enjoying your competition.
The experience at Flight Club is more than just about fun darts gaming. Flight Club offers tasty food and sensational cocktails.
When it comes to keeping you fuelled up Flight Club know just want you need. They’ll be serving up 13 different pizza paddle options, burgers, wraps, sharing fries, sweet treats and a range of small plates & sharing platters. There’s everything from Mozzarella sticks and Smashed avocado & tomato bruschetta to Chicken katsu bites, Prawn dumplings with wasabi mayo, Korean beef skewers and Jerk -spiced chicken with chilli jam, developed by Great British Menu winner, chef James Cochran!
Their four bars are fully stocked with a full selection of beers, wines and spirits. However, when at Flight Club it’s all about the cocktails. Their mixologists have curated a long list of cocktails which offer bespoke twists on the classics, like the All Night Negroni (Roku gin, Martini Ambrato vermouth, Select Aperitivo and lychee) and the Salted Caramel Espresso Martini (Portobello Road vanilla vodka, Kahlua, espresso and salted caramel).
If you’re looking for a brunch option then you should check out the Flight Club Brunch Social. Every Thursday through to Sunday they serve up bottomless pizza with a bottle of Prosecco for each guest.
Should you be wanting to give your work event or party a competitive twist then you should speak to the Flight Club team. Their impressive tech offers a tournament feature which allows multiple oches to be connected together. The expert Gamesmaster will get everyone organised and enthusiastically host your tournament.
You should also check out Cardiff’s roof terrace. As well as the chilled vibe and space for over 200 guests, there are little huts and a traditional wagon, which can be booked – so you can enjoy a quaint little retreat regardless of the weather.
See, I told you it was going to be an exciting month! And Flight Club Cardiff will not disappoint!
