Fayre Play Launch Adult Fairground in Edinburgh

Roll up, roll up Fayre Play in Edinburgh is opening this Saturday, 1^st July 2023!

Located on Picardy Place, with a convenient tram stop just outside the door, Fayre Play offer nine hilariously fun fairground games, themed cocktails and incredible food from Scran Daddy.

When it comes to games to play with your mates Fayre Play have some absolute classics:

• Skee – BAW – roll your balls into the holes, the smaller the ball the bigger the points
• Slam Dunk – fan fav basketball sinking game
• Duck Hunt – old skool hook a duck – check it’s butt to see if you’ve won a prize
• Plenty O’Fish – chuck the balls into the fish bowls, them fish are hungry
• Glass Market – toss the hoops over the bottles
• Cal-Tin Hill – Let off some steam knocking the cans over with the balls
• Bulls Aye – Tis a little bit dizzy, darts with a rotating board
• Shots Fired – shoot the bags of snacks, wee yins score you more points
• Cannae Whack it – yes you can! When the head pops up you whack it as hard as you can!

There are loads of prizes to win including the striking large Fayre Play rubber duckies! Each player gets to play each of the nine games twice. They recon it takes 60-90 minutes to play all the games, but they’re happy for you too mooch around, eat, drink and play at your leisure.

Talking of eating and drinking, you’re in for a treat. Scran Daddy will be serving up a tasty menu of loaded dogs, tasty burgers and stacked up fries. Quite a few of their menu items can be made veggie, vegan and gluten free.  Could you be tempted to a Scottie Dog? Haggis and katsu sauce!

The bar is stacked with a great range of tipples including their very own larger – impressive. The cocktail menu continues the playful fairground theme with mixes including Who Gives A Duck (Bacardi, Raspberry Sourz, blue curacao, fresh lemon, lemonade, apple juice and malic acid). Or go alcohol free with the Roll Up, Roll Up (fresh cranberry, lemonade, orange syrup and orange sherbet sticks).
