Electric Thrill New Mini Golf and Gaming Venue Opens In Glasgow

26th October 2021

Not technically a Social Playlist venue (there’s no alcohol on sale here) however, they do have a Dessert diner and brilliant games … so we thought we’d share!

Electric Thrill opened will a buzz earlier this month. Offering mini-golf, arcade, VR pods and sweet treats until 10pm, this cheeky little venue is a great place for families by day and fun seekers by night.

The site boasts two, nine-hole mini golf courses. The computer game theme course, Gamer and the slightly harder space themed course, Galactic. The walls are amazing decorated in comic book style, spray paint, with the mood set by neon lighting and spots which act as lasers within the art work – it’s pretty impressive. Each distinctive hole is beautifully designed, with sleek curves and chunky features.

Electric Thrill uses Radio-frequency identification wristbands which interface with the i-pad at each hole. Use the i-pads to input your score then all the data is stored on your wristband. When you’re finished simply scan your band and discover whether you’ve reached the top of the leader board!

Not only do they have mini-golf but they’ve got in a load of arcade games including some amazing VR and AI options. Electric Thrill is home to the UKs very first Cyber Keeper; an amazing AI powered robot goal keeper game – can you beat the goalie?

The arcade boasts two, interactive VR seats which offer over 100 different VR gaming options. Within the arcade you’ll also find games like, the extremely popular Basketball toss game, NASCAR racing, Bustin’ Balloons and Fire Ball. They also house claw machines, coin slots and a pool table.

When you’re all gamed out and ready for a break then you should putt on over to the Electric Chill Dessert Diner … oh my! Try out one of their infamous bubble waffles, ice creams or cakes, washed down with the usual array of soft drinks, shakes or coffee.

All in all, there is much joy to be found at Electric Thrill. From an amazing set of arcade machines, to fresh golf courses and super sugary treats.
