Clays Bar in Canary Wharf is now officially open, having celebrated this incredible new venue with a launch party this week.
This latest Clays Bar offers incredibly fun digital clay target shooting, quality food and sensational cocktails set in a beautiful, stylish bar.
Gaming at Clays is brilliant fun. You and your team are housed in a semi-private peg (shooting booth) for 90 minutes of competitive shooting. You’ll be holding modified shot guns which you fire at the giant gaming screens. There are five different, interactive games to play. It’s not just shooting at targets but honing your skills so you can shoot targets coming across at every angle at vary speeds, winning points to speed up your racehorse, protect your ship or speed your rocket into outer space. You’ll be surprised by how quickly you improve and the accuracy of the tech.
There are eight pegs at Clays Canary Wharf. Once housed in your peg not only can you get your game on but you can use the touch-screens to order food and drinks directly to your peg area.
The vibe at Clays is sophisticated. The sleek interior design incorporates lush seating areas and high-top bar tables with warming tones of blush pink and gold. Large trees and foliage, bring the British countryside indoors, without the inclement weather.
Clays is all about providing guests with a quality experience. From the décor, the ambience, the friendly staff and the gaming to the food and drink offering.
A contemporary menu has been created by culinary director, Roger Olsson, who previously worked at The Dorchester, The Ritz and Pierre De Terre! The menu centres around loaded breads and small plates. Dishes include “KFC” tempura cauliflower, sweetcorn ribs with paprika salt & a lemon and Pork and Venison Scotch Egg. Their desserts are to die for, Cookie Dough Truffles, Chocolate Tart, Cookies and Cream Cheesecake and Chocolate Blondie!
Showcasing an exceptional range of beverages, the drinks menu has been put together with as much attention to detail as everything else at Clays. Created by Jon Calabrese in collaboration with the Clays mixologists are a fine selection of cocktails. Clays Burst is a sweet and sour pink gin mix, Jack’s Orchard combines the taste of toffee apples and whisky, whilst Precision Punch hits a tropical note with banana spiced rum! The large bar also serves up low and no beverages, wine, beer, spirits and some feisty cocktail shots.
When you’re not enjoying the thrill of the hunt you can soak up the atmosphere in the gorgeous bar area, relax in the heated outdoor terrace or dance the night away to the bangers being played by the resident DJ. Your night out is officially sorted!
