The boom is growing as Boom: Battle Bar announce yet another multi-activity venue. Next up for BBB is a site within the Printworks, Manchester.
The Printworks is an iconic venue at the heart of Manchester and boasts a wonderful array of places to eat and drink. In recent years the owners of Printworks, DTZ Investors, have been expanding the leisure offering. The Printworks in currently home to Treetop Adventure Golf, Escape Reality and, a Tenpin Bowling centre which offers interactive bowling lanes, an arcade, beer pong, shuffleboard, karaoke and more. The next step will be the addition of a Boom: Battle Bar.
Boom: Battle Bar is set to occupy 8,800 sq ft which used to house the Lazy Lizard nightclub. It is expected that BBB Manchester will feature many of the games they have become known for, including shuffleboard, Bavarian axe throwing, Crazier golf, interactive darts, pool and ping pong. There’s also been mention of marble racing.
To keep you fuelled up for your night of furious fun the venue will house bars on the ground and basement levels. BBB serve their own Boom: Battle Beer alongside a range of funky cocktails, spirits, wine and soft options – so there’s plenty of choice to keep your clan happy.
When you’re ready for food then BBB also have a wings-based menu where you choose the spicing to match your gaming endeavour … will you go naked or ramp it up to Atomic Mind Melter?
There are currently five open BBB venues with 23 additional sites now listed on their website. These new location are spread across the country from Edinburgh, Sheffield, Manchester and Leeds down to Oxford Street, Wandsworth, Southampton and Bournemouth. So over the course of the next few years you’re sure to find a Boom: Battle Bar somewhere near you.
