After months of waiting the time has finally arrived. Boom: Battle Bar Lakeside has opened today (16th July)! It’s ok if you feel the need to let out a whoop.
The 15,000 sq ft Boom: Battle Bar sits at the entrance of the Lakeside leisure area. Positioned alongside Flip Out, its sister venue, Puttshack, Hollywood Bowl and Electric Gamebox – this is location you really can spend the whole day or night.
This exceptional social play venue cost around £2 million, but its money very well spent. At BBB you’ll find a ridiculous array of activities to keep you and your friends entertained time and time again. Games include Bavarian Axe Throwing, the world’s first Carnival Combat, Augmented Reality darts, 18ft Shuffleboards, American Pool, indoor curling, crazier golf, beer pong and karaoke. I feel exhausted just writing that list!
BBB have employed around 50 full and part time staff to look after guests, including expert bar and kitchen staff. As usual BBB will have everything you need for the ultimate night out. A spectacular bar offering craft beers, bottled beers and ciders, spirits, wine and fizz … but they also do Instagrammable bespoke and classic cocktails. We highly recommend their Battleship beer … it’s delicious.
The menu offers you a fabulous choice of tasty street food options. Although the Lakeside menu is still underwraps it’s quite likely that they’ll be offering some of their usual treats: nachos, burgers, pizza and those spicy curly fries.
