A fresh, contemporary approach to mini golf. Bold putting holes with striking lighting and large set pieces. Par 59 is more like a high-end bar which also hosts modern mini golf and high-tech interactive darts. Keeping step with the big-city trend, Par 59 is a social entertainment venue, serving up quality competitive experiences alongside a creative drinks menu and street food. The large bar serves up a wide range of beverages including 15 different gins and an exciting cocktail menu. Food is presented by the popular Dirty Birdie, street food vendor, meaning you’ve got everything you need for a cracking night out. All you have to do is grab your mates or set up that date.

Jungle Rumble Adventure Golf

Get down to Jungle Rumble for a tropical vibe. They have two, 18-hole mini-golf courses offering classic golf holes. Check out their Jungle Course, where you can explore the natural beauty of the rainforest, and if you’re feeling fearless, take a walk through their famous volcano cave. Or maybe brave their Swamp course, where you’ll navigate past all sorts of things lurking below the depths. If all that activity has left you thirsty for more, make sure to check out their fully stocked bar to knock back a drink or two. Jungle Rumble is open everyday and closes at 11pm.

Bristol Golf Centre

This is a driving range with an incredibly high-tech twist. There are 32 bays altogether, all offering the latest Inrange radar ball-tracking tech (so good it’s used by professionals). However, six of their bays are special group bays offering brilliant gaming. Each bay has a large screen on which you select the game you want to play. It then shows you the target you’ve got to hit. Once you’ve belted your ball you can watch its trajectory on the screen and see how close to the target you were. Utilising impressive graphics, there are games like Shrinking Targets and Bullseye. Onsite there is a cafe serving up hot & cold food and drinks, alcoholic beverages and cakes.

Activity cost: For the group bays £30 per hour for up to four people

Though not a crazy golf venue per se, we just had to add inPlay Golf venue to this list. A high-tech golf simulation venue, this is one for golf lovers everywhere. Whether you’re an accomplished golfer or a complete beginner, inPlay Golf provides a relaxed and informal environment to practice your game or even swing a club for the very first time! And because you don’t need any pre-existing golfing skills, it’s the perfect venue for a work social evening or team building event as everyone can take part! You play with real clubs and balls, so you’ll certainly look the part, and we’re sure you’ll feel as at home in one of their simulators as on the golfing green. Combining the latest indoor technology with some seriously cool graphics, you can try your hand on the Pebble Beach, Wentworth and Georgia courses, or even pretend like you’re competing in the Ryder Cup! inPlay Golf can host party events and competitions for up to 25 guests.

If you’re willing to venture West from Bristol then we highly recommend trying out Revo Golf, a fabulous crazy golfing joint in Western Super Mare. Here the dark nights add to the fun as the whole course is glow-in-the-dark! If you have a love of neon, graffiti art and themed crazy putting this is certainly the place for you. Meet the Terminator and rummage through the scrap yard. Plus, if you can land a hole-in-one on the last hole you can even win a free round! Fancy a drink or two, well then look no further than their own in house bar that will serve you anything from soft drinks for the designated drivers to cocktails and beers to get the party started. Check out their Revo Kitchen and bakery which is stocked with freshly baked wonders every single day and serves up delicious food all day. Every Friday & Saturday Revo hosts live music / performance acts, so you can kick off your weekend with a touch of class.
