With three fantastic rooms on offer, Exitus Escape Rooms is a perfect venue to kick off our list.

Wanna have fun whilst doing something worthwhile for a good cause? Then have a go at their Tenovus Virus Tinkerers room, where 5% of all bookings are donated to Tenovus Cancer Care. You’ve got just one hour to restore power to the lab before life-saving cancer research is lost.

Fancy an Egyptian pharaoh themed room? Curse of Senutep, which is non-linear, has you search for a lost tomb, break your family’s curse and solve the mystery of the Pharoah Senutep, the leader lost to time.

Maybe you’ve got chocolate on the brain – if so, test your skills in Coco Loco, where the infamous De Leon family chocolate factory has always been passed down through the female line – until now! You’ve gotta discover the secrets of the new owner so you can hand back control of the factory to the rightful heir, Rose, before it’s too late!

Don’t let the name of this venue deceive you – yes, they’ve got boutique bowling lanes but they’ve also got a fantastic set of escape rooms on offer!

With room for up to eight players, you’ve got up to an hour to puzzle your way out of some tricky situations! If you’ve got Stranger Things fever, you’ve gotta give their Subject 11 room a go. Your game will begin in a seemingly normal living room, but things soon get creepy as you try and crack just who (or what) has been stealing children in the middle of the night.

Or maybe you fancy a bit of Cold War code cracking in their Atomic Agency room! The year is 1961, and not everything is what it seems. With just sixty minutes on the clock, you’ll have to wrack your brains for clues on just how to escape.

Perhaps Hostage Hostel II is more your scene – you’ve not got long to escape the evil clutches of your mysterious captor before time runs out! Or maybe try The Runner, where something mysterious is heading your way.

Reckon you’ve got the brains to tackle the ultimate challenge? If so, get yourselves down to Escape Rooms Cardiff, where castles, zombies and ancient curses await!

Their Cardiff Castle room transports you right back to the Wales of ages past, where your task is simple – Owain Glyndwr needs your help to storm the fortress! Find the secret entrance and retrieve the plans to help him defeat the English.

In their Sherlock 2: Moriarty’s Revenge room, you’ll assume the role of the villain and one of the greatest of them all needs your help! Think you’ve got what it takes to go toe-to-toe with one of the smartest detectives of all time?

Other exciting rooms include a spaceship rescue in Astro Quest, a zombie apocalypse in Z, a journey into the pyramids with Tomb and a rather gruesome hideaway for an eye obsessed serial killer, in Oculus.

Adventure Rooms Cardiff

Adventures certainly await in this fantastic escape room venue in Cardiff, with their three hands-on experiences!

The Mad Scientist room gives you limited time to escape from the lab, where bubbling experiments, clinking test tubes and explosions galore suggest something mysterious is going on. The door is shut. Who knows what’ll happen if you stay there too long?

Their Mafia escape room pits you against some of the biggest players in the mobster business. Trapped in their headquarters, you’ve only got an hour before the terrifying gangsters return – and they have some evil intentions of ‘dealing with you’ the second they return!

Fancy more of a fantasy twist? Then try out their Black Queen game, where a supernatural storm has forced you to take refuge in the huge and haunting manor of the mysterious ‘Black Queen.’

Each room can accommodate up to six people and their duel format can be played by up to twelve.

With six fantastic rooms to choose from, there’s plenty of opportunities for you to flex your mental prowess and solve some cryptic clues before the clock runs out! They host some of the most challenging games in the city, with both their Alcatraz and Fibonacci games being rated as 5/5 difficulty!

Their Jungala room challenges you to escape the clutches of the mysterious, otherworldly game that you’ve found hidden away in your attic. In Enigmista, a mysterious serial killer is on the loose, forcing his victims to crack gruesome puzzles in order to escape. In Heist your mission is to steal one of the most expensive paintings in the world in the hope of fame and fortune! Stephen King fans? Then be sure to check out Misery, where you’ve been kidnapped by a malevolent nurse, with only so long before she returns and traps you in her house forever!
