The wait is nearly over … the exciting Beach Bar in Aberdeen is opening on 28th January!
The Beach Bar on Aberdeen’s Beach Esplanade originally opened as a vibrant cocktail bar in September 2020. With outrageously spectacular views of the beach and an array of colourful cocktails it quickly became a firm favourite with locals.
However, entrepreneur and leisure industry creative Darren Margach has given the bar an incredibly funky make-over and maxed out on the activities to bring you a night out of competitive joy.
This stylish venue has been given a modern, urban vibe, with its gorgeous wooden floors and industrial ceiling paired with neon lighting, foliage walls and those sea views.
When it comes to games the new Beach Bar has it all, crazy pool, electronic darts, skeeball, shuffleboard, axe throwing, digital beer pong and ping pong! So even if you show yourself up playing one game, you can redeem yourself on the next. And if you think you’re not a competitive person, try a game of shuffleboard!

The expansive bars (yes, two bars) are fully stocked with all your favourites, including Edinburgh’s finest Innis and Gunn largers as well as a delightful range of cocktails to help you celebrate your winning or commiserate your loses. Their cocktail menu has something for everyone from frozen daquiris, popular regulars such as the Pornstar Martini or a Cosmopolitan or sample one of their cheeky dessert based cocktails: Grasshopper, Cherry Pie, Brandy Alexander, Toffee Apple or the Lemon Tart.
You’re going to be needing to get yourself re-fulled and thankfully The Beach Bar has curated a menu of delightful street food options for you. Choose from grills, char-grilled burgers on a pretzel bun, hand stretched stone baked pizzas to fully loaded fries and classics including scampi, chilli or mac ‘n’ cheese. Ooo, makes my mouth water just thinking about it!
