Why not add a little awe and wonder, a touch of role-play and some creative cocktails to your night out? You can get all that, and more, at Avora. A magical place for a date, a fun night out with your besties, an incredible birthday and a unique way to get to know your colleagues.
Opening on 2nd December, located in the Rosewood Building, Hackney, you are invited to become the latest recruit of the Roscorp Laboratory to journey through The Gateway into the majestic realm of Avora. Your mission is to mine the natural resources, some of which are used to create incredible cocktails.
Commence your adventure at the lab where you’ll be given your Avora jumpsuit and ‘antidote’ – a special cocktail designed to enable you to adapt to the new atmosphere. The resident botanists (live actors) then guide you around the planet, introducing you to the inhabitants of Avora and directing you to magical buds and secret ingredients suitable for the creation of your next cocktail sensation.
As day turns to night, the plants themselves begin to glow, under the moonlit sky. It comes clear that the work of the lab could lead to significant exploitation of the planet. But, what will you do? Continue with your mission, harvest the plant life, make your cocktails, enjoy drinking them and choose to ignore the threat to Avora? Or join the resistance and choose to protect the planet rather than plunder it?
A visit to Avora last 1 hour 45 minutes. Tickets are £40 – £47 per person and include the three cocktails created throughout the experience.
The Avora experience highlights the challenges and effects of exploiting our planet’s resources. Therefore, the production team have worked to reflect their commitment to sustainability. In partnership with Ecologi, Avora will be planting a tree for every ticket bought. The cocktails have been created in association with Sustainable Restaurant Group plus they are going to be reviewing the carbon impact of the experience once it opens fully and work on making improvements.
