Clays is a stunning bar serving fantastic food, creative cocktails and a high-tech interactive clay shooting experience. Having opened their first venue in November 2021 in Moorgate, London they are now going to open their second site in Canary Wharf this December.

Clays is a vibe and will fit gloriously into the bustling nightlife of West India Quay. Upon arrival you’ll be struck by the stylish décor. With a rose gold and blush pink colour palette, large trees blooming in delicate blossom and plenty of foliage, you’ll experience the glamour of a modern English country estate.

Once inside Clays Canary Wharf you’ll discover eight pegs – semi-private shooting areas. Each giving a generous amount of space for groups of up to 20 people to enjoy their game play whilst supping on cocktails.

The gaming is incredible. Players hold their specially adapted clay target shooting gun and aim at the enormous interactive screen. There will be five different games to enjoy, each offering a different theme / goal. Players from the same group compete against each other in these fast-paced, creatively designed games.

Clays was conceived and developed by people with professional experience in the sport of clay target shooting, some of whom have competed for England! So, understandably, the gaming is pin-point accurate and brings the thrill of the sport indoors, making it accessible and joyous for a whole new audience.

The focus of clays is authentic quality. This is apparent not only in the activity but their food and drinks menus too.

The inspired cocktail menu serves up a wonderful range of themed signature cocktails including the pink gin-based Clay Burst, Jack’s Orchard a powerful whisky hit with a toffee apple twist and the Precision Punch bringing the tropical style of banana spiced rum! Their expansive bar also serves up a wide range of beers, wines, fizz, spirits as well as low and no options.

Food at Clays is serious business. Available to order from a touch screen within your peg, the food on offer is fabulous. The menu was created by Roger Ollson who’s previously worked at The Dorchester and The Ritz! We’re talking sweetcorn ribs with paprika salt and a lemon & chilli dip, Cobble Lane charcuterie and “KFC” tempura cauliflower. Just so good!

If you’re looking for somewhere for a party or work night out, that’s actually fun, then Clays Canary Wharf will have a private VIP area. This bookable space will contain three pegs and a private bar – ideal.

As well as the glorious bar and sizable gaming pegs the new Clays venue will feature a treehouse-style DJ booth, a heated outdoor area as well as plenty of space for hanging out with your mates or dancing the night away.

Clays founder, Tom Snellock, said, “We are incredibly excited about opening Clays in Canary Wharf this December. After an incredibly positive and supportive response to our venue in Moorgate in our first year, we are delighted to bring the Clays concept to such a vibrant part of the city. Clays is a completely unique concept within the competitive socialising arena and we’ve really focused on creating an overall experience that will blow guests away time and time again. Not only by our games and tech but our drink and food offer as well as our spectacular interiors. We cannot wait to open Canary Wharf later this year and look forward to welcoming returning and new guests to Clays.”
