1920 Bar Ramp Up Gaming Fun on ‘The Cabins’

15th February 2022

This week ITV’s The Cabins featured a brilliant competitive socialising venue in London, 1920 bar.

1920 bar, located in trendy Clerkenwell, is an edgy pool bar, packed with games, spread across two floors.

This popular spot has been open in Clerkenwell for 22 years but in 2021 had a major refurbishment and it looks incredible!

The venue has four full-sized pool tables, in black, on the ground floor plus a further three 7ft tables in the basement bar. All seven tables are pre-bookable – so, if you’re a regular you can even book your favourite table to get you that special spot for you and your mates.

To accompany the pool table fun, 1920 bar is equipped with a load of other great games. Two TORNADO T3000 table footballs equipped with ITSF light so you can channel your favourite players of this all-American classic. The basement bar houses a multi-game arcade system, for the ultimate 80s and 90s throwback, featuring classic games including Pacman, Art of Fighting 3, Alien Vs Predator and, amongst others, Puzzle Bubble 2.

If that weren’t enough gaming then you can also try out their pinball machine or their Phoenix electronic darts machines which offers classic darts as well as some fun games, including Balloons and Carnival.

Given that this energetic bar boasts great American games, it’s not surprising that their food menu adopts a great range of American Diner classics. There are small plates like Nachos or Chicken Wings of Fire, or you can go all out with mains of burgers, dogs, ribs or salads, pimped with toppings and sides to suit your tastes.

However, if you’re out with friends you may well want to try their sharing platters, so you get the full 1920 bar experience.

Keeping you refreshed and game ready is top priority for 1920 bar so their venue boasts two bars.  No matter which floor you’re on a glass of your favourite tipple is never too far away.  From beers and ciders, to wines and soft drinks there is plenty of choice. Plus, there’s a suitably playful cocktail menu.  Great options include, Rum & Bass (Bacardi Oakheart spiced rum, apricot liqueur, crushed apples and grapes with lime and apple juices) and Queen Bee (Jack Daniel’s Tennessee honey bourbon, Cointreau and lemon juice topped with champagne).
