180 Club Interactive Darts Hits The Bullseye in Cheltenham

11th June 2021

For over 125 years people have been playing the ‘modern’ game of darts. But I bet, back in 1896, Brian Gamlin, inventor of darts, couldn’t have dreamt how it would evolve. Casual darts is a fast-paced, tech-infused, instagrammable, easily accessible revamp of ‘modern’ darts.

180 Club Cheltenham offers five lanes of the highest spec electronic dart boards in the world. Opening in the Fire Station, Cheltenham on Thursday 1st July, the 180 Club lanes can cater for up to 25 people for a night of highly-competitive, laughter-filled fun.

This already popular venue houses three lanes in their bar area, situated in semi-private booths, and a further two lanes of smarts darts in their upstairs private hire space. The Fire Station opens at 11am every day so is the perfect place to head to for a fun lunch, alternative meeting, date night or for that long-awaited night out with mates.

Food is not a side dish at the Fire Station in St James Place. Food is lovingly delivered by creative chef, Matt Robinson. The broad menu offers everything from a Falafel & Halloumi Bowl, to Lamb Kofta, Filthy Club Sandwich to sharing Crispy Fish Taco. If you still have room to spare then you can finish yourself off with an Espresso Martini Sundae.  The venue can cater for up to 60 diners at a time, so there will be room for you even if you don’t have time for darts.

Ensuring you make the most of a lazy day the Fire Station offer amazing bottomless brunches. This isn’t the usual pizza & prosecco. This is smoked salmon & cream cheese on toast, Huevos Rancheros, Buttermilk Waffles, Chilli Cheese Vegan Burger followed by a Sticky Toffee pud.

For the ultimate brunch you can add in some darts. £39 per person gets you 90mins of darts, food and bottomless fizz! What better way to start you hen day … or just any day really?

The Fire House is first and foremost a bar; providing a wide range of beverages including cocktails. If you’re having a group night out you can take advantage of one of the Fire Station’s offers and grab yourself a cocktail tree or beer box.

180 Club was developed by the team at Mosaic Pub & Dining Company. Pete Macdonald, CEO of Mosaic Pub & Dining Company, said: “We couldn’t be happier to be bringing our insanely popular 180 Club concept to this fantastic town. We know that the people of Cheltenham are going to love it.

“The Fire Station is already an amazing venue, with fantastically loyal customers and we want them to know that we’re still The Fire Station, with all the elements that they enjoy – fantastic food and drink and an incredible atmosphere – but we also know that 180 Club will add that something extra that they will love.

“We’re so looking forward to reopening our doors and welcoming everyone back, it’s set to be a pretty great summer.”

180 Club at The Fire Station is the second 180 Club venue.  The original 180 Club is on St Paul’s Square in Birmingham, having opened in 2019.
